Dr. Wong is a Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor in
Biomedical Engineering at Boston University. Her research interests include
biointerfacial phenomena and biomimetic materials engineering for tissue
engineering and targeted delivery for therapeutics and early detection of
disease. Her research is currently funded by the NIH, NSF, and NASA. She is a
recipient of a NSF CAREER Award, Whitaker Foundation Young Investigator Award,
3M Faculty Award, Boston University Provost Innovation Award, Dupont Young
Investigator Award, and National Academy of Science Frontiers in Engineering.
Dr. Wong serves as an editorial board member of Polymer Reviews and
participates in numerous scientific societies. Professional activities include
outreach to groups under-represented in science and engineering.
